Problem Statement

Mitigate collisions of overheight vehicles with bridges, tunnels, etc. to reduce road blockages, damages to infrastructure and have a safe logistic experience.

Aurecle : Augmented Reality Clearance Estimation

Using a single sensing modality, i.e a RGB camera on the vehicle dashboard
Can be installed locally on the vehicle
Can be retro-fitted for auto-braking system of the vehicle
Larger distances can be estimated compared to stereo vision, or existing solutions

Simple Linear Iterative Clustering where Superpixels are a group of pixels sharing common characteristics
